Substitutes
Using the “Substitutes” function, lecturers can authorise other people to carry out various eDoz tasks on their behalf.
Substitution functions
Two functions are available in eDoz for assigning substitutes:
For both substitution functions, the eDoz functions for which the substitution is to be valid must be specified.
Rules
- Authorisations must be granted by the lecturers themselves.
- Lecturers can only grant authorisations which they have themselves.
- Substitutes are only valid for a certain period.
- Authorisations can only be granted to ETH Zurich lecturers or employees.
- For privacy reasons authorisations may not be granted to bachelor or master students (Hörerstatus < 20).
- Authorised users log into eDoz using their own ETH credentials. They only have access to the functions and course units for which they have been granted authorisation.
