Application deadline
- Worldwide departmental programmes: 1 December for the following academic year. Application worldwide preselection D-HEST: HST
- Worldwide ETH-wide programmes: regular application deadline, no preselection
- SEMP SMS: 4 February (application open on 15 January) for the following academic year. Application SEMP SMS preselection D-HEST: HST
- Completed 2nd year of studies with all mandatory credits required from the first two years (by the time of departure). Exceptions must be discussed with the departmental exchange coordinator (see below).
- During the Bachelor's programme courses can be taken.
- During the Master's programme either courses or the Master's thesis may be conducted externally, not both. Internship projects may be conducted at the host university independent of the aforementioned restriction.
