Details

A modal dialog shows all details for a selected project/paper/thesis.

Granted approvals / confirmations

At the top right you can see whether the work has been confirmed (supervisor) or approved (tutor) or whether confirmation / approval is still pending. If the terms of the thesis do not require a confirmation, "not required" will be displayed. If the terms of the thesis require the supervisor to confirm, the supervisor will receive an e-mail. Please note that if consent is refused, an e-mail with this information will automatically be sent to the respective student and Study Administration.

Grades / Results

In this section you can see the grade / result achieved. If not yet scored and you have the appropriate rights, a link will appear. If a task description is mandatory, it must be uploaded before the scoring.

Uploading of task description

If the terms of the thesis require that the task description has to be uploaded when the thesis is registered, the respective students will do so and their supervisors may view the respective description task. Supervisors may replace the task description by uploading a new one.

If the terms of the thesis allow the task description to be uploaded later, there will be a notification that no results may be recorded before the task description has been uploaded. In this context students may upload the task description in myStudies, or supervisors may do so in eDoz.

If the terms of the thesis do not require to upload a task description at all, the supervisor may still do so. The notification "A task description may be uploaded" will appear.

Mark project/paper/work as submitted

This button can be used to mark the work as "submitted". This is explicitly required by some departments and you will be informed if you have to use this function. This has no influence on where (in which list or on which page) the work is displayed (this is controlled by the confirmation of the score), but regulates internal mechanisms.

If a declaration of originality must be submitted with the thesis, a link to the respective form will be provided.
