Clinton Global Initiative University - Apply now for CGI U 2021

Represent ETH Zurich at this prestigious event!

CGI U is now accepting applications to join its Class of 2021. Students apply with a Commitment to Action: a new, specific, and measurable initiative that addresses an issue on their campus, in their local community, or globally. These commitments can be in the ideation, implementation, or scaling phases.

Accepted students will

• be matched with an alumni mentor
• participate in a yearlong Commitment to Action curriculum
• be invited to CGI U engagement events
• have ongoing access to resources to help implement Commitment to Action
• be part of the growing CGI U community

The online modules of the 13^th annual virtual meeting will take place between February and November 2021. You will hear from topic experts in social impact, public service, and civic engagement and will conntect with fellow CGI U students.

As a member of the CGI U network, ETH Zurich can nominate ETH students directly to CGI U. ETH Zurich will support participating ETH students also financially with seed money to implement their Commitments to Action.

Eligibility criteria

You are an ETH Zurich student with an innovative idea in one of the five CGI U focus areas:

• Education
• Environment and Climate Change
• Peace and Human Rights
• Poverty Alleviation
• Public Health

You are committed to turn this project idea into action within the next years. You can apply as an individual or together with maximum 2 other ETH students.
