Asia Pacific Week is an interdisciplinary conference held annually in Canberra, Australia, aimed at students from around the world who have an academic interest in Asia and the Pacific.

The Australian National University’s Asia Pacific Week is an interdisciplinary conference aimed at high-achieving students from around the world who have an academic interest in Asia and the Pacific. Now in its eighth year, the 2018 conference explores the theme of ‘Untold Stories’. The conference will draw in diverse and innovative perspectives to examine the changes occurring in the Asia-Pacific region and the steps that must be taken to ensure its stability and growth. Aiding delegates will be ANU's unrivalled expertise in the study of the region and the outstanding resources available in Australia's capital.

With a delegation of 80 top students from across the globe, the 2018 conference continues the tradition of bringing together scholars, policymakers and senior officials of the highest calibre for a week of stimulating discussion and debate. As a delegate, you will have the opportunity to not only hear from regional experts, but to engage in interactive panels, debates and simulations. The next generation of Asia-Pacific specialists leave with a network of friends and contacts from around the world. The 2018 conference will be held from 25 – 30 June 2018 at the Australian National University.

Participation fees are as follows:

  • Australian domestic students - $50
  • Young professionals - $200
  • International students - $0

All transportation fees must be covered by the participant.
