Image catalogue of ETH Zurich’s Earth Science Collections now online
ETH Zurich's Earth Science Collections display approximately 1,200 minerals, fossils and rocks in 3D in their catalogue on the platform ETH E-Pics.
The materials stem from the Albert Heim Collection, which was gathered from all over the world between the 1880s and the 1910s.
The catalogue can be browsed according various search terms, such as fossils, sediments, volcanic products or metamorphic rocks. The digitized objects can be viewed three-dimensionally and downloaded free of charge.
