Good news for map enthusiasts

Over 55,000 folding maps from ETH-Bibliothek can now be loaned throughout the NEBIS network and consulted outside the Collections and Archives reading room regardless of the opening times.

These include maps on topics such as topography, geology and hydrology as well as town maps from all over the world. This offers scientists, students and anyone else who is interested in maps more usage options and increased flexibility in accessing ETH-Bibliothek's map holdings.

Maps, wall maps and atlases published prior to 1900 can be reserved online via the Knowledge Portal as before and viewed in the Collections and Archives reading room.
