ETH Zurich has various options to support studying parents financially.
Scholarships
In addition to cantonal scholarships, you may apply for scholarships at ETH Zurich. For scholarship amounts, childcare duties are taken into account.
Loans
If you are facing financial difficulties and once you have passed the first-year examinations, you may apply for an interest-free loan of up to CHF 12,000. A request may be submitted to the Financial Aid Office at any time.
To bridge momentary financial difficulties, you can obtain short-term loans of up to CHF 2000, usually interest-free from the first semester onwards.

Continuation of salary as a student employee
Student employees are entitled to paid maternity leave. Your continued pay is based on the average hours worked per month.
