"Nationaler Zukunftstag" 2015
The “Nationaler Zukunftstag” event will take place during the morning of 12 November, 2015. On this day, ETH Zurich opens its doors to the children, godchildren and grandchildren of staff, to show them the world of science. This year’s theme is “Changeover”.
“Changeover” means breaking down stereotypical views on seemingly gender-specific professions. The ETH wants to introduce the next generation to lesser-known disciplines and areas of work, and to fire their enthusiasm for the world of science.
This year there are places for over 250 children to take part in one of the 20 programmes offering a glimpse into the daily life and research work of ETH staff. School children attending class 5, 6 or 7 are invited to take part.
The programmes will be held in German. If you would like to register a German-speaking child, you can apply using this if you have any questions.
