During periods when no teaching or examinations are taking place, the teaching rooms are generally available for congresses, conferences, lectures and one-off events. The Room and Course Scheduling Office in the Rectorate is responsible for administering the teaching rooms (auditoriums and seminar rooms).
Rentable dining areas
Thanks to its infrastructure and technical fittings, the external pageAlumni Lounge on the Hönggerberg campus is ideal for concerts and celebrations in an informal yet exclusive setting. Lectures, coffee breaks, drinks receptions and dinners can also be held here.
- Monday to Sunday, on request
- Capacity: up to 80 people seated, up to 100 standing
- Area: 345 m2 (plus 50 m2 stage)

ETH Zurich’s Bellavista is a serviced restaurant on the Hönggerberg campus boasting award-winning interior design and a view of the green surroundings. It is open to both the ETH community and to guests outside the university. Whether you are looking to celebrate a private or a corporate event, the Bellavista team will assist you with the planning.
- Available exclusively for groups of 15 or more (evenings and all day at weekends)
- Capacity: up to 130 people seated, up to 200 standing
- Area: 187 m2

- Parking spaces and good public transport connections

If you’re looking for a less conventional venue, the external pagebQm Bar in the MM building has a genuine bar vibe and is ideal for meetings, coffee breaks and drinks receptions.

- Area: 170 m2 (* 240 m2) plus outdoor terrace
- Capacity: up to 40 people seated, up to 80 standing (Einstein & Zweistein up to 150 people)

The external pageClausiusbar in the CLA building is suitable for drinks receptions, coffee breaks, stand-up lunches and dinners. The glass hall is open to the public and can be used at the same time. Standing tables are available in the walkway to the LEE building. The restaurant has a smaller event space and a self-contained dining area.

- Capacity: up to 50 people seated, up to 80 standing
- Area: 90 m2, small outdoor terrace

A wide variety of events can be hosted at the external pagefood market on the Hönggerberg campus – from lectures, coffee breaks, drinks receptions, to stand-up dinners or dinners with table service. The food market is located in the HPR building next to the spacious Albert-Steiner Garden.

The external pageOctavo restaurant in the OCT building (Oerlikon) is perfect for hosting small to medium-sized events. Equipped with a spacious bar, stage, and multifunctional audio and video system, it is ideal for hosting presentations, live TV, stand-up lunches, flying drinks receptions or sit-down dinners.
- Capacity: up to 200 people seated (105 for presentations), up to 300 standing. In the green inner courtyard 124 people seated, 151 standing (assuming good weather)
- Various spaces from 20 to 300 m2
