Honorary doctorate for Lino Guzzella
Lino Guzzella, former president of ETH Zurich and professor at the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering, received an honorary doctorate from the Università della Svizzera italiana. He was honored during the university’s 25th anniversary celebration.

Lino Guzzella, professor at the Institute for Dynamic Systems and Control at the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering (D-MAVT), was president of ETH Zurich from 2015 to 2018. He previously held the position of rector from 2012 to 2014. He has now been awarded an honorary doctorate by the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) in Lugano and Mendrisio on 8 May 2021 at the university's 25th anniversary celebration.
