Prof. Srdjan Capkun recognised as ACM Fellow

Congratulations to Prof. Srdjan Capkun for receiving this fellowship for his contributions to systems and wireless network security. Its most prestigious member grade, the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) annually recognises the top 1% of ACM members for their outstanding accomplishments in computing and information technology as well as their service to the computing community.

Prof. Capkun is one of the 58 members which were named ACM Fellows 2019 for significant contributions in areas including artificial intelligence, cloud computing, combating cybercrime, quantum computing and wireless networking. "In highlighting the accomplishments of the ACM Fellows, we hope to give credit where it is due, while also educating the public about the extraordinary array of areas in which computing professionals work," said ACM President Cherri M. Pancake during this year's member announcement.

ACM will formally recognize its 2019 Fellows at the annual Awards Banquet, to be held in San Francisco on June 20, 2020.
