Claire Voisin, of the Collège de France, currently Senior Fellow at the ETH Institute for Theoretical Studies, receives the 2017 Shaw Prize in Mathematical Sciences. She shares the prize with János Kollár, of Princeton University.
Michele Parrinello Wins the Dreyfus Prize
Michele Parrinello, Professor at the D-CHAB, has won the 2017 Dreyfus Prize, conferred this year in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry. Parrinello is the first recipient of the award in the Chemical Sciences outside of the United States.
Sustainable Energy Award 2017 for Prof. Pérez-Ramírez
The Sustainable Energy Award is given biennally by the Royal Society of Chemistry for sustainable research on chemicals and fuels from renewable energy sources. This year's award goes to Prof. Pérez-Ramírez from the Department of Chemistry and Applied Biosciences (D-CHAB).
