Employee party «togETHer» 2014

The services department supports education, research and administration by providing general services related to working at the ETH.
The department ensures that cooperation in areas such as logistics, mobility, mail and parking runs smoothly, and takes pressure off organisational units by supporting them with tasks in relation to printing, ensuring the flow of information or events.

Workshop coordination office

The workshop coordination office promotes the transfer of knowledge within the ETH workshops and makes their services visible. Furthermore it helps to optimise the workload and the usage of the machines, to cut costs and to advise regarding acquistitions. It is also the contact point for people which don’t have access to the workshops.

We support our colleagues, within the services department, in administrative issues. We ensure websupport for our departement and initiate new projects, which help to make work easier at the ETH.

Logistics

The logistics department in the ONA is responsible for all postal operations. This section also handles warehouse and distribution tasks, which include the storage and distribution of office supplies as well as other goods.
