Did the San José Electric Light Tower, built in 1881 influence the design of the Eiffel Tower built in 1889? Come see for yourself and watch the documentary containing original research that chonicles this important historical relationship between the two towers. You will enjoy a fascinating story of the people and the engineering that went into the the building of these two historic structures.
Professor Daniel Hall (ETH Zurich) and film director, external pageThomas Wohlmut will discuss this interesting story and it’s relationship to ETH Zurich on stage. The moderated conversation will be followed by a screening of the film and a Q&A with the audience.
