Game development becomes child's play
The Game Creator is a new app that boosts children's creativity. Stéphane Magnenat of the ETH Game Technology Center presents his new and intuitive game programming platform for the design of games.
Game programming is essentially the privilege of a group of trained professionals. At first, one needs to learn a programming language before the fantastic world of game creation opens up. The Game Creator App removes this hurdle. Thanks to an intuitive and visual programming language, users can directly build game worlds and populate them with their own characters. The development of games literally becomes child’s play.
Stéphane Magnenat is the Deputy Scientific Director of the Game Technology Center at ETH Zürich.
