Private letter mail and parcel post
Campus Info Hönggerberg
ETH operates a Swiss Post postal agency at Campus Info Hönggerberg (HIL). The following services are available at the postal agency:
- Purchase single stamps
- Pick up and drop off letters and parcels
- Make payments (using a PostFinance, Maestro or V PAY card)
- Withdraw cash (using a PostFinance card, maximum amount per withdrawal: CHF 500)
- PickPost (collect parcels and registered letters)
Note: ETH franking may not be used for private assignments
Campus Info Zentrum
Campus Info Zentrum (HG) provides the following services:
- Purchase single stamps
- Post and collect letters and parcels (no registered mail; Track & Trace for parcels only)
- PickPost (collect parcels and registered letters)
1 Parcels are not franked by weight, but by size.
Change to customs declaration as of 2020
International consignments up to 2 kg (maxi-letter) must be declared online in advance: This applies for consignments to the USA since 1 July 2019, and to all other countries as of 1 January 2020.
The advance declaration must be made via the Swiss Post online services Accompanying documents for international letters.
We do not accept consignments without a CN 22 code sheet.
