There are two views of a course with groups: a group list and a detail view for each group.

Group list

Basic information about the course and its groups is displayed here. Furthermore, export lists and an e-mail communication function are provided.

Registration counts

Note that the "overall count of course registrations" may be greater than the "overall count of group registrations", as students do not have to choose a group immediately when registering for the course.

Moreover, the "maximum number of places in associated course units" is only a finite value if an upper limit on the number of available places has been set for all associated course units; otherwise this value is infinite, represented by the character "–". This applies analogously to the "overall number of group places available": groups without defined group size offer an unlimited number of places.

Export lists

The data export contains all students in the course. Students who did not yet chose a group are sorted on top.

E-mail communication

Via the group list you do not communicate with selected students as usual in eDoz, but with selected groups. This means that all students and assistants of the selected groups receive your e-mail message.

Group details

This page displays basic information about a group and provides export lists and an e-mail communication function. The data export and the list with image contain all students in the group. You can communicate with them via the e-mail function.
