Data Science-Praktikum bei zkipster

zkipster is an event management software company providing online invitations, guest list app and event analytics. zkipster is looking for a data scientist intern responsible for modeling complex problems, discovering insights and identifying opportunities through the use of statistical, algorithmic, mining and visualization techniques. You will be working from home and report back directly to the CEO and other stakeholders within the organization.

Requirements

• Advanced skills in statistical analysis, quantitative analytics, forecasting/predictive analytics, multivariate testing, and optimization algorithms
• Proficient in integrating and preparing large, varied datasets, architecting specialized database and computing environments
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for event technology and its affiliated industries
• Competence to work individually, as well as advanced written and spoken communication skills to report back the findings in a clear manner
• Programming experience in R is a plus

Degree:  BSc/MSc ETH in mathematics, statistics or computer science

Employment:  40-60%, based on mutual agreement

When:  Start in spring 2018, minimum 6 months

Where:  Home office, sporadic meetings in Zurich and/or New York
