polybox Service
polybox enables synchronous (and asynchronous) collaboration for members of ETH. Users can create and edit a range of file types directly in their web browser.
polybox offers various advantages compared to commercial applications:
- Lecturers and students can jointly work on documents in a teaching context
- Data is saved on local servers at ETH Zurich
- polybox can be used as a repository in Moodle
- Collaborative folders can be added as activities in Moodle (in planning)
- Access is provided via NETHZ account, no additional login necessary

The integration of collaborative features into polybox is part of the eCollaboration project which aims at enabling fast, informal, synchronous collaboration between students.
