Julia Ramseier

Curriculum Vitae

Julia has been responsible for communications and community engagement at ETH Sustainability since April 2024. After graduating in Communication Science from the University of Münster in 2004, Julia completed an MSc in Political Science at the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2006. After graduation, she worked as a consultant in the culture and communication department of the German Foreign Office in Berlin and later as a conference manager and editor at Axel Springer Switzerland. From 2010 to 2014, Julia worked as a communications expert for the World Health Organization's Africa office, partly based in Brazzaville. She then became editor-in-chief of "Polykum", the student magazine of ETH Zurich until 2019. She also worked as a coordinator for mobility and international affairs at the Institute of Political Science at the University of Zurich. Besides her work for ETH Sustainability, Julia is also a freelance writer for the NZZ on cultural topics and supports project development in the theatre sector.
