ETH login pages adapted to the corporate design

In case you notice something the next time you log in to Google Workspace or Microsoft 365: The ADFS login page will be adapted to the current corporate design of ETH Zurich.

Laptop

Black and white are the dominant colors for the ETH Zurich website design. Following these guidelines, the ADFS login pages are now being adapted.

ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services) is a software that allows users to log on to different applications via single sign-on. In future, logging on to these web applications will be done via a login page that corresponds to the current corporate design of ETH:

Users will see these login pages when they use Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoom or Adobe Creative Cloud and want to log in. Where the so-called Integrated Windows Authentication is set, the information is taken from the login on the computer and will not have to be reentered.

The new ADFS login pages will go live in Mid-July 2022.

Also available in dark mode

The new ADFS login pages can also be displayed in so-called dark mode. This "dark" or "night mode" displays texts in white and backgrounds in black. Dark mode is supposed to provide a better reading experience by reducing flickering and be more comfortable for the eyes. In addition, the power consumption of certain screens is supposed to be lower thanks to the dark mode.
