Researchers are increasingly involved in direct exchange with society, politics and business. Whether in traditional or social media, in the context of public events, or in the form of texts, presentations or interviews, this dialogue places special demands on the communication skills of researchers.

Through the Communication Academy, Corporate Communications aims to raise awareness among scientists at ETH Zurich of the great opportunities as well as the inherent risks of science communication, and enable them to communicate their research in a comprehensible and compelling way to a non-scientific audience. This approach will enable Corporate Communications to contribute to a constructive dialogue between science and society.

The courses offered by the Communication Academy are aimed at doctoral students, postdocs and professors at ETH Zurich. Please find here more information as well as the course programme.

Due to the ongoing coronavirus situation, most of the courses in autumn 2021 will take place virtually.
