swissuniversities funding programmes: Renewed calls for proposals
Within the framework of project contributions, swissuniversities is launching new calls in individual funding programmes. Once again, cooperation projects with universities of applied sciences or universities of teacher education in doctoral studies, projects in the area of "Diversity, Inclusion and Equal Opportunities", projects in the area of subject didactics and Open Science are being announced.
Below you will find a brief overview of the current calls for proposals, under which projects can be proposed from ETH.
Cooperation with universities of applied sciences or universities of teacher education in the field of doctoral studies (P-1, TP2)
This external pagefunding programme supports joint doctoral programmes. The focus is on the dual supervision of doctoral students by lecturers from universities and universities of applied sciences or universities of teacher education.
The disadvantage of the funding programme is that no doctoral students can be funded, only activities of the joint doctoral programme.
The call has already been launched and the application deadline is 21 May 2021. Applications must be submitted to swissuniversities via the Rector.
Equal Opportunities and University Development (P-7)
This external pagefunding programme aims to further develop diversity, inclusion and equal opportunities at universities. For this purpose, the project defines the areas of "strategies, structures and processes"; "competence development of actors at higher education institutions", as well as diversity, inclusion and equal opportunities in teaching and innovation.
Funding is available for individual projects as well as cooperations of at least three universities.
The call for proposals has already been launched and the deadline is 20 August 2021. Applications must be submitted to swissuniversities via the Rector.
Development of subject-specific didactics (P-9)
This external pageprogramme supports existing subject didactics networks (sub-project 1) as well as measures to develop individual careers of subject didactics specialists.
The call is to be launched by 1 May 2021. Applications can be submitted directly to swissuniversities.
Open Science (P-5)
Funding is available for inter-institutional and inter-disciplinary projects in the field of Open Access.
The external pagecall for open access projects has been open since October 2020. The deadline for the next round of evaluation is 31 May 2021. Applications must be submitted via the President.
