Full migration to swisscovery on 1 April 2021

At the end of March, the transition period for the migration to the new external pageswisscoverycall_made research platform that was launched last December will come to an end.

Please note that the old library system will no longer be available from April onwards:

• All media that were borrowed prior to 7 December must be returned by the end of March 2021. The management of current loans cannot be transferred to the new system.
• In swisscovery, you will not be able to view the favourites you saved in the old system. There are instructions available for exporting your favourites.
• Your loan history and active reservations will also not be automatically transferred to the new system. If you would like to continue to use these, please follow this instructions.
• Should you have any questions on fees generated by previous loans, please contact .

In order to be able to use swisscovery, you must register anew. If you have not yet done this, please follow the instructions about registration.

swisscovery lists more than 30 million books, series, journals and non-book materials as well as more than 3 billion electronic articles. swisscovery is operated by the Swiss Library Service Platform, or SLSP. SLSP was founded by 15 universities. Today, over 470 libraries across Switzerland have joined.
