ETH Store expands its selection
Since early November, the ETH Store on Hönggerberg campus has been offering an expanded selection that includes food and drinks alongside books, stationery and other merchandise. To offer this new one stop shop, the ETH Store has entered into a partnership with Valora.
The Hönggerberg location of the ETH Store has joined forces with convenience store operator Valora to offer a one stop shop with a wide selection of goods. Starting on 2 November 2020, the ETH Store will also offer beverages, healthy snacks, fresh baked goods, sandwiches and salads alongside the usual assortment of books, stationery and other merchandise. There will also be a small coffee corner to let you linger a bit and enjoy your brew. The snacks and drinks will be sold by Valora as part of a “shop-in-shop” concept.
"By offering food and beverages, we will round out the selection at the ETH Store and give our customers the chance to save time by buying what they need all at one place," explains Katrin Schley, Manager of the ETH Store. The Valora shop-in-shop will be accessible during the ETH Store's normal opening hours. Customers can purchase items via self-checkout.
Future developments for the ETH Store
The Avec Box convenience store on Hönggerberg campus, which is also run by Valora, will continue operating as usual until late May 2021. It will then be integrated into the ETH Store as a shop-in-shop, where it will be accessible via a separate entrance and open 24 hours a day, including weekends.
