Keep track of the latest research results with Feedly

We are looking for researchers and doctoral students who will use the business version of the Feedly app over a period of 2–3 months and evaluate it for us using a catalogue of criteria.

How does Feedly support you?

Feedly runs in the browser, on Android and on iOS and helps you to stay up to date on topics and trends. Feedly allows you to merge and organize information from different sources (e.g. journals, Twitter, RSS feeds, blogs and websites) without having to visit the corresponding pages and sources. A connection to other tools like Trello and OneNote is also possible. While the basic version of Feedly is freely available, the business version must be licensed. In return, you get several advantages: for example, the number of sources that can be accessed is significantly larger. Furthermore, team feeds can be created and summaries can be requested.

Are you interested in testing Feedly?

If you are doing research at ETH Zurich and we have aroused your interest, we would be pleased if you would send a short e-mail to . David Johann is also available to answer any questions you may have. Registration for participation in the test runs until Friday, 3 July 2020.

Why are we testing Feedly?

The increasing number of scientific publications and projects as well as the changing communication behaviour of researchers (which is expressed, for example, in the increasing use of social media) poses challenges for researchers. One of these challenges is that it is becoming increasingly difficult to keep track of the latest research results and developments as well as the current scientific discourse. The ETH Library aims to identify tools that make it easier for (junior) researchers to stay up to date. One of these tools we are testing in this context is the business version of Feedly.

#KnowHow – ETH Library’s infrastructure and tools lead you to your goal.

#ETHLibraryDigital – ETH Library is there for you digitally with various resources and services, not only during the COVID-19 protective measures.
