In the last three meetings before the end of the year, the Executive Board established a new competence centre for rehabilitation, approved the Charter for equal pay and revised the strategy for adjusting parking charges.

Dr. Hermann Lehner is appointed new head of the Academic Services. He takes over from Dr. Dieter Wüest on July 1, 2020, who has served in this important position for 15 years and has provided invaluable service to ETH Zurich.

This was the first time that ETH President Joël Mesot presented the ALEA Award for exemplary leadership. At the traditional Christmas drinks party, ETH members were able to raise their glass to toast past successes and projects, and see out the end of the year together.
