Call for Proposals 2016 - Congressi Stefano Franscini
The Congressi Stefano Franscini, conference platform of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology of Zurich since 1989, gives the possibility to organize research conferences at Monte Verità, a hilltop over Ascona and Lake Maggiore.
All researchers and university professors working in Switzerland are invited to submit their proposal for a meeting or an ETH Winter School to be held in 2016; international collaborations are welcome.
The applications will be evaluated by an interdisciplinary scientific board.
The Congressi Stefano Franscini offers:
- a substantial financial support (provided by: ETH Zurich and Swiss National Science Foundation)
- administrative assistance in the organization and carrying out of your meeting
- a modern conference centre in a magnificent venue, very interesting from the historical and cultural point of view, with a hotel and a restaurant on site
- the CSF Award: a prize to be assigned to young researchers for the best oral presentation
The Congressi Stefano Franscini asks for:
- the organization of a scientifically top-quality conference lasting 3 to 5 days
- the participation of an international scientific audience composed of 50-100 senior and junior researchers, staying at Monte Verità for the whole duration of the conference
