Revision of personnel legislation with effect from 1 July 2013
The revised Swiss Federal Personnel Act (German, FPA) comes into force on 1 July 2013. Changes have also been made to the personnel regulations in the Federal Institutes of Technology Act (ETH Act, German) in connection with this.
The Federal Council approved the corresponding amendments to the DownloadPersonnel Ordinance for the ETH Domain (German, ETH PO)vertical_align_bottom on 14 June 2013. The main changes concern notice periods and the procedure for the termination of employment contracts by the employer. Paternity leave is also being extended from five days to ten days.
