Hardware Sell-Off for the Central Bodies (HWA-ZO)

The service "Hardware Sale for the Central Bodies" (HWA-ZO) enables employees of the Central Bodies to purchase hardware no longer used and decommissioned at ETH for private use.

HWA-ZO includes the preparation of the hardware released for sale, the maintenance of the sale offer in the IT Shop, the order processing in the IT Shop or via IT Ticket as well as the reservation and delivery of the hardware after the order has been placed. In the event of a desired sale of hardware after a lifecycle, the hardware is reserved for the respective employee, who can order the replaced hardware via the IT Shop.

Customers are given the opportunity to purchase hardware no longer used at ETH for private purposes at favorable conditions.

This service is aimed at employees who are supported by ISG ZO-Support. Employees who are not supported by ISG ZO-Support cannot benefit from this service.

The costs of the hardware offered can be seen in the IT Shop as well in the ZO-Support InfoPortal. Payment is made directly in the IT Shop during the ordering process, or in case of sales of hardware categories not available in the IT-Shop, via invoicing by ETH IT Services.
