Notes for visitors

Approximately 20 lecture halls at ETH Zurich have been equipped with cameras to record the projection area ("blackboard recording"), and visitors may be recorded in person in these halls

• if they are sitting in one of the first three rows of seats,
• if they move around in the podium area or
• if they move directly in front of the camera installed at the rear of the lecture hall.

If a visitor does not wish to be recorded, they should avoid the areas mentioned above.

In all 65 lecture halls, verbal contributions from visitors can be recorded if they use the microphones in the lecture halls.
