for administrators

You provide administrative assistance at ETH Zurich; you manage financial and personnel issues for your chair, institute or area, organise events, and hold responsibility for various administrative activities.

This training will help you come to terms swiftly with your new area of responsibility. The various modules convey the fundamentals necessary for your work in personnel and finance. In the first module you will gain basic knowledge; in the subsequent modules you explore various themes and their practical application.  

This introductory course does not replace the ETH start course for all newly appointed support staff.

Goal

You will gain an overview and basic knowledge of financial and personnel issues in both a theoretical and practical form. This will enable you to swiftly master your daily duties. You will learn about ETHIS as a key work tool and how to use it.

Administrative assistants at ETH Zurich (ETHIS authorisation depends on the module).
