| This course offers an introduction to the characteristic morphological and reproductive traits of one of the largest angiosperm plant families, the Orchidaceae. The course also includes ecological and evolutionary aspects, with a discussion on pollination mechanisms, mimicry, and speciation. Furthermore, students could see native orchid species and study their characteristics. | |

| Attendance and active participation during day 1 and day 2. In order to complete the course and gain the credit point, students will be assigned a reading task and will have to hand in a questionnaire. | |
