This journal contains an article on Nigeria’s democratization process and another which uses a Marxist interpretation of imperialism to analyze the Arab Spring. The first article discusses democratization in Nigeria’s fourth Republic and the importance of citizens’ activism. The second article discusses the issue of uncompleted national liberation and independence of Arab states, focusing on the dialectics of the Arab revolts.
