ETH Policy Challenge

Imagine the impact you could have on society if you could improve existing monitoring networks for pollution, noise, infectious diseases, natural hazard, or traffic.

ETH Policy Challenge invites ETH students and scientists to participate in a competition establishing a digital platform for citizen petitions to local and national governments, or international organizations.

Your task

Design a feasible and sustainable technology-enabled policy application for citizen science.

Participation

Teams of students and scientists from all areas of ETH.

Your gain

Benefit from the large network of relationships of the Institute of Science, Technology, and Policy and get privileged access to policy-makers, civil society representatives, and the news media.

Your prize

The winners will be awarded a cash-prize of CHF 10'000.00, second prize CHF 5'000.00, and third CHF 3'000.00.
