Study associations

The study associations are societies for students on specific study programmes.

The student associations represent the students’ concerns and interests at departmental level. They offer study-related tips and support and organise events.

Student association council

The student association council (Fachvereinsrat, FR) is made up of one representative from each student association and one member of the VSETH board.

It serves as an internal information agency, a decision-making body for issues relating to university policy and a coordinating committee within the VSETH union.

The student association council is also responsible for supervising foundations and cooperative societies in which VSETH is represented. It meets every three weeks during the semester.
