Intensive German for doctoral students

An intensive German course enables ETH Zurich doctoral students to communicate in German within just one year. Online registration for the course is open from 29 May to 13 July 2017.

Students learning

From zero to Level B1 in one year - doctoral students will obtain enough German competencies within 12 months to be able to communicate in German both in connection with their work and socially. The registration is for the full one-year course, and once submitted, it is binding. The course must be paid in full (CHF 2’650.–) at the time of registration. The tertiary institute will support course participants in the current pilot phase with a substantial financial contribution (one third by rectorate, one third possibly by professor and one third by the participant).
