New rates for parking

As from May 2017, the parking of cars on ETH Zurich premises will be subject to a charge. Over the next few months, therefore, ETH parking areas and garages will be equipped with a new payment system.

Parking Ordinance of ETH Zurich
New day pass: White certificates will replace the pink ones.

As from 2 May 2017, the parking of vehicles on ETH Zurich indoor and outdoor areas will be subject to new rates. Various options covering tickets for hourly parking and passes for longer-term parking are still available. Special conditions apply for members of ETH Zurich and partner organisations.

The adapted rates are a consequence of the new Downloadparking ordinance, passed by the Executive Board in December 2016. This is based on market conditions, and entails – particularly in the case of external users – a general parking charge.

You can obtain your parking authorisation, such as daily or weekly passes, through Campus Info. We are currently drawing up the online offer.

Motorcycles and mopeds now require a permit

Motorcycles with a valid licence plate may still be parked free of charge within the designated areas. However, you must now register. You will find more information at Parking at ETH Zurich.
