EU GrantsAccess is an office providing information and advice for national and international researchers who already live or work in Switzerland, who are looking for an opportunity to conduct a scientific career in Switzerland or who are interested in moving to another country to do so.

EU GrantsAccess provides information on international research funding, supports researcher with EU proposals, organises information events or workshops on specific topics or on general topics regarding the Swiss Research Area.

EU GrantsAccess is a member of the European EURAXESS Network and operates as an EURAXESS Services Centre in the region.

Since 2001, Sofia Karakostas and Agatha Keller are heading the joint counselling centre of the University of Zurich and ETH Zurich.

Research management

EU GrantsAccess supports researchers at the University of Zurich or ETH Zurich, public and private research institutions, SMEs and industrial companies in the cantons of Aargau, Glarus, Schaffhausen and Zurich with applications and projects connected with the European Union’s Research Framework Programmes (currently: FP7).

For researchers at the University of Zurich and ETH Zurich, EU GrantsAccess offers additional services, as a partner on projects and as a coordinating body.

The Project Office is responsible for the smooth and timely implementation of the project administration during every stage of a research project.
