The Facility Management department has overall responsibility for utilities and technical and infrastructural building management for all buildings and facilities used by ETH Zurich. It carries out these activities using its own resources or by calling on external service providers.

  • IT support, hard- and software procurement for the Facility Management department

  • Consulting regarding the systematic optimisation of facility management (as required)
  • Consulting of Portfolio Management regarding infrastructural and technical issues
  • Definition of operational requirements for building projects, including quality assurance
  • Approval and commissioning of internal technical facilities
  • Support in coordinating external and internal specialists during building projects
  • Organisation and realisation of trainings/ERFA groups
  • Formulation, evaluation and consultation of guidelines
  • Securing an economically and ecologically ideal cleaning result
  • Securing the electricity supply as well as technical management of section electricians
  • Incident management regarding supply interruptions and repairs
  • Lobbying in working and project groups (as required)

2016 In Review

The customer satisfaction survey 2016 and the waste disposal week 2016 have been completed.
