Bioreactors in the laboratory.

Understanding Large Scale Chemical Production and Creating Molecules

The molecular sciences research their structure and their formation in nature. However, they also deal with the products and chemical processes in our industrial society, from the manufacture of a drug to environmental technology processing.

Structure

The Master’s degree programme includes compulsory lectures in the core subject areas of Bioengineering, Catalysis, Process Design, and Polymers, plus a range of electives. Practical training in the laboratory, a research project and a four-month Master’s thesis project familiarise students with research work on current subjects.

To complete their training a majority of graduates in these disciplines progress to a doctoral programme.

  • Advanced lectures in Prosess Design, Bioengineering, Catalysis, Polymers
  • Electives, practical laboratory course, research project, case studies
  • Master's thesis project (16 weeks)
