Changing the World

Water, soil and air are becoming increasingly precious as populations increase. The goal of environmental engineers is to manage these vital resources in a sustainable manner and to rehabilitate them wherever necessary.

Building on the basic knowledge acquired in the Bachelor's degree programme, the Master's degree programme expands students’ subject-specific knowledge in one of five areas from the fields of

  • Urban Water Management
  • Environmental Technologies
  • Resource Management
  • Water Resources Management
  • River and Hydraulic Engineering

These specialisations are supplemented by a broad range of electives. A project, together with the 6-month Masters thesis, offers the opportunity to approach a subject-specific topic in an applied or research-oriented manner.
