Master Micro and Nanosystems

Main content

Micro and Nanosystems products are getting more and more interdisciplinary and complex, involving key technologies from all engineering disciplines and beyond.

Therefore, process and methods from engineering sciences, physics and mathematics can be used to work on important issues in the exploration and development of new integrated systems and respective innovations.

The Master program in Micro and Nanosystems offers an interdisciplinary education with elements primarily from mechanical and electrical engineering. It is complemented by courses in physics, material science, electronics and microsystems, computational science and process technology.

The content of the program is balanced between basic theory, fundamental methodology and application-specific topics. Tools ranging from computer simulation to advanced experimental techniques are introduced and applied in order to provide a deeper understanding of the underlying phenomena, processes, and system characteristics.
