Who is behind
ETH Week is a learning format in the context of ETH's 'Critical Thinking Initiative'. It is an interdisciplinary course which fosters critical and
independent thinking, innovative learning and real - world problem solving. The ETH Week was triggered through a students’ initiative.
As Rector of ETH Zurich, Sarah Springman bears the overall responsibility.
Reto Knutti, Associate Vice President for Sustainability at ETH Zurich and Andreas Vaterlaus, Prorector for Curriculum Development and Innovation in Education at ETH Zurich form the steering committee of ETH Week. Christine Bratrich, Director of ETH Sustainability, is the project leader charged with implementation.
Lukas Möller is the President of the Student Association Council of VSETH. He ensures that the students' interests are well represented during ETH Week.
Stefano Brusoni, Professor at D-MTEC; Anita Buchli of the Rector's Staff; Paolo Burlando, Professor at D-BAUG; Gerd Folkers, Professor at D-GESS provide content inputs and review the curriculum critically.
Lex Schaul of ETH Sustainability, Darcy Molnar of NADEL, Alan Cabello Llamas, research fellow at D-MTEC and Bernhard Wehrli, Professor at D-USYS are responsible for developing the curriculum and ensuring the quality of the content of the ETH Week.
Responsible for the training of the student tutors are Benno Volk, Elke Tomforde and Marion Lehner of the unit for Educational Development and Technology (LET).
Responsible for project management are Melanie Imfeld and Cyrill Zosso of ETH Sustainability. Anahita Zelger and Daniel Kottmann of the Office for Events and Services are in charge of logistics and organization.
