MAS/CAS Development and Cooperation

The Development Economics Group is closely linked to ETH NADEL. NADEL equips professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to implement the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

For its Master of Advanced Studies in Global Cooperation and Sustainable Development (MAS ETH GCSD) program, NADEL recruits talents from different scientific backgrounds to prepare them for a career in development cooperation or research, policy, and industry positions with a focus on sustainable development. The MAS ETH GCSD combines studies at ETH Zurich with extended on-the-job training at an international organization, where students get to know the complex reality of development cooperation in the field. Graduated MAS students will have acquired an understanding of local and global development challenges as well as the tools and methods to find innovative solutions to address them.

The next MAS ETH GCSD cycle (2024-2026) starts in autumn 2024.
The application period is 01.01.2024- 29.02.2024.
