There is an external and an internal login.

• External applicants (including special students from the University of Zurich) must register, i. e. create an account with their personal data. For this purpose they need a current passport photograph (width-to-height ratio between 0.7 and 0.85).
• Internal applicants do not have to register; they can use their nethz credentials to log into eApply (for technophiles: via the Authentication and Authorization Infrastructure for Swiss universities, “SwitchAAI”). They will be automatically logged into all other applications supporting the login process via SwitchAAI (e.g. myStudies).
  

Please note that, when using public computers, you need to close all browser windows after using eApply in order to block access to your eApply account.

Special students from the University of Zurich and auditors are not considered to be internal applicants; they need to register in order to be able to apply via eApply, since they need to provide some missing information needed for a possible matriculation.
