Computational Science and Engineering (CSE) provides futureoriented training in mathematics, computer science, and in at least two areas of application from the natural and engineering sciences.

Structure:
The Master’s degree programme consists of two compulsory core courses; one field of specialisation from those listed above for the Bachelor’s degree programme; case studies; a semester paper; and a five-month Master’s thesis project.
- Core courses: Visual Computing, Computational Statistics
- Field of specialisation (see Bachelor’s degree programme)
- Electives, case studies, semester paper
- Master’s thesis (5 months)
