Specialised Joint Master programme

The Master offers a high-level qualification for an interesting, multidisciplinary profession with excellent job opportunities in industry, research and national authorities, or as a basis for doctoral study.

The programme is offered in cooperation with EPF Lausanne.


Credits ECTS: 120
Language of instruction: English


Structure:

This Master’s degree programme covers the process and technology of energy conversion in nuclear power plants, including the associated processes of the fuel cycle from fissile material extraction to waste disposal. Courses in energetic nuclear fusion and non-energetic applications of radiation in medicine and industry supplement the programme. With the help of a tutor, students draw up their own individual curricula.

Entrance requirements:

Qualifying Bachelor’s degree programmes: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Materials Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Chemical Engineering.
