Creating electronic intelligence – developing energy concepts

Communication, travel, medical treatment, domestic heating, satellite launches, telephone calls: electrical engineering underpins it all.

Structure:

The necessary fundamentals of mathematics, physics, information technology, and the theoretical and methodological basics of electrical engineering are taught in the first year and in the compulsory subjects of the Bachelor’s degree program. The various courses under the category of "Laboratory Courses, Projects and Seminars" aim to develop the students' personal responsibility and skills for interacting in teams and for practical work. As the program progresses, students select freely from a wide range of EE-related core courses out of our specializations on top of which they are allowed to select from a large list of elective courses. The category of humanities courses (GESS) rounds off the program with general academic courses.

- General basic courses: Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science

- Basic engineering courses: Networks and Circuits, Digital Circuits, Electronic Circuits, Electromagnetic Fields and Waves, Signal and System Theory, Semiconductor Devices

- Core courses: From our areas of specialization Communications, Computers and Networks, Electronics and Photonics or Energy and Power Electronics

- Elective Courses: from a large list beyond the borders of EE.

- Laboratory Courses, Projects and Seminars

- Humanities, Social and Political Science (GESS)
